Nefi Lopez

Nefi Lopez is a trial lawyer and co-founder of Lopez Franco PLLC, a trial firm dedicated to fighting for Texans catastrophically injured or killed by the negligence of others. Known for his relentless advocacy and precision in the courtroom, Nefi has built a reputation for turning complex cases into clear, compelling stories that move juries and deliver results.

A native of Tomball, Texas, Nefi learned early the value of discipline and perseverance as both a student-athlete and competitor. He carried that drive to Houston Christian University, where he played on the inaugural football team and captained the nationally ranked Mock Trial Team, earning multiple individual awards and national championships for advocacy.

Nefi earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston, one of the nation’s top trial advocacy programs. There, he twice won the prestigious T. Gerald Treece Trial Academy and competed in more than a dozen national trial and appellate competitions as a varsity advocate. Those experiences and years of practice refined the courtroom instincts and strategy he brings to every client’s case today.

After graduating and becoming licensed by the State Bar of Texas, Nefi began his career at a leading personal injury firm, where he learned firsthand how to take on major insurance companies and defense teams. He later founded Lopez Franco PLLC with the vision of giving every client the same level of preparation, attention, and tenacity usually reserved for the biggest cases.

Outside the courtroom, Nefi gives back by coaching the next generation of trial advocates at both South Texas College of Law and Houston Christian University. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston. Over the years, Nefi has received numerous awards such as being inducted as a “Super Lawyer” Rising Star and holds numerous titles for record breaking settlements and trial verdicts in the State of Texas.

Nefi represents clients in all areas of personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, trucking / 18-wheeler accidents, catastrophic injury cases and wrongful death claims.
